Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Fresh out the wood fired oven would be nice @Determined, plenty to go round @Anna88.

Hoping @Smc is nice and toasty with her heater in full operation.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Di you have some fave hot desserts @Anna88

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

I love sticky date pudding and choc self saucing pudding @Former-Member about you?

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

@Former-MemberWood stove is going, but got started too late in the day for "toasty". It's been enough to take the edge off though. I cooked silverside and vegs for dinner, got it to boiling on the electric hotplate, then kept it simmering on the wood stove. Also managed to get a bit of fruit on to stew ready for brekky tomorrow.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Sticky Date pudding, yum @Anna88 I just had some yesterday.

I hadn't had that in years (until then).

I just love Cheesecake...

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Stewing fruit for brekky, & cooking dinner on the wood stove @Smc Sounds like a great idea.

Does it take lots of patience (rather than electric cooking)?

I've got gas stove & oven (& gas hot water).

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

There is a packet blackberry self saucing pud that I have not seen for a while that was really nice when cooked in the microwave @Anna88 I find sticky date pud a bit rich.

Hopefully the house will be warmer tomorrow @Smc.

Hi @Adge

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

@Former-Member Yes I can find it a bit rich too, I like to have it with plain vanilla ice cream to tame it down a bit.
