Sounds wonderful @Shaz51 😊
We had a couple of cats growing up. They're the best !!!
My husband is not a cat person, so we had to improvise ..... with hermit crabs, fish, budgies .....
I wasn't a dog person much, but this German Shepherd has stolen my heart. He's all heart !!! Just undiluted in everything he does. Definitely an outside pet ! He ate his wooden dog house. He eats the hedges sometimes if he is put out about something and doesn't know what else to do.
Animals are amazing ❣

Hi @Former-Member
I t was good to see you pop up on Night Shift last night. Apple's "@" function wasn't working properly so you wouldn't have got a notification of her reply, but it was lovely what she said about all your music experience. You got 'liked' for that too ........... 🎼🎧
Hi @Shaz51
How was your night ? Is it really wet where you are ? We have overcast skies, but nothing wild - mid to high teens in temp today.

Hi @Shaz51
I'm only just home from an afternoon shopping trek .........
My daughter (D3) is turning 18 in a couple of days, but she has gained quite a lot of weight across the dramas of the last few years, stress eating mostly, but all the hormonal storms are part of that too. So, she has been trying to reach for the dress styles she was wearing previously and getting upset when they didn't work with her current shape.
Thankfully D1 was along with us too, and she's a real brass-tacks kiddo. She calls a spade a spade, with a spoonful of sugar thrown in, and steered D3 to new styles of clothing that are still young and trendy, but look great with her shape as it is.
We found a dress ............ Yay !! ................ put aside in her size at another shopping centre, so that's the plan for tomorrow, to go and pick it up.
Everybody fed.
Everybody hosed down.
Time to put my feed up for a bit, and say hello here .......... 😊
How owe has everyone else's day been ?

Hugs and hugs @Kurra
I am copping sharpness of tongue, moodiness, no-speaks etc from my teen and 20-somethings as a part of the pressure we are under - that is, more than usual for this age group who are still so hormonal anyway. I try to suck it up, and take my chill-pills (coffee by the river, occasional foot massages, headphones with music), but there are just some times when it's too hard to be the human sponge and I have a good cry !!
I had one of those mid-week, and sent out a 💜 by text to a bunch of close friends .... bless them, I got ❤️'s and messages of support back again.
These forums are like that. So many compassionate friends here, just walking each other home ....
Something else that happened though, was that I suffered a whopping backache that lasted most of the week. I thought it was soft-tissue injury at first, being hypermobility and all, but the pain moved around from one day to the next ...... now I am convinced that it was emotional distress affecting me physically. The pain has subsided as our circumstances began to right themselves again and the emotional backwash eased off.
Interesting. And something to watch for in the future. I hadn't been getting out for my walks for weeks, and I suspect that is a coping mechanism I really need.
I hope tomorrow is gentle for you too 💐
