sick with hypos

Re: sick with hypos

Thank you dear lovely @MRIS

Yes, that sounds good.  I'm a little slow at thinking, must be a symptom of hypos.  I will endeavour to eat some jam on toast.  I'll be okay, it was not a lot of insulin.  So think I will be okay, but it  has been going lower.

Thank u for your wise counsel.  Dr asked if i could stay with a friend, but they are asleep. It is very good of you to care and offer advice.

Re: sick with hypos

Hi @BambiFawn

Just wanted to check in and see how you are going? I'm moderating until 7am so you can always chat here or email me.

Have your bgls stabilised now? Pls do call an ambulance 000 if you continue to feel ill.

Kind regards,

Frog

Re: sick with hypos

Thank you dear @Former-Member, my bgl after more milo has finally increased to 9.7bgl at @12.am...

I think after several hours from tea time, my bgl's are stabilising now.  Will keep an eye on them ..

Better to ride high than low.

Thank you once again for helping me dear lovely frog, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, and dear lovely @MRIS.

Re: sick with hypos

I'm glad you've been able to get your bgl up again.
I'm also glad that your hypo is now officially over with that bgl reading!
BUT don't let that stop you from staying and chatting with us anyway. Smiley Happy

Re: sick with hypos

Dear frog @Former-Member, I think I'm out of the woods.  Just resting on my bed and watching bgl closely. It's still fluctuating a little more than usual but that can be expected.  Seeing my lovely Christian Doctor tomorrow.  I have good rapport with him. He will help me.

Thanks for being so suppotive dear frog. I feel like Cookie Monster haha.  Another cookie for the road.undefined

Re: sick with hypos

That's good to hear @BambiFawnthat you are resting. Are you able to go to sleep now?

Keep your phone close by, in case you need to call for help. Glad to hear you are seeing your Dr tomorrow.

Take care,

Frog

Re: sick with hypos

@BambiFawn- not sure if you're awake at this hour, but I'm just seeing if you're OK.

Re: sick with hypos

Hey thanks dear @Sans911, for caring about me.  I'm okay now, Praise God. The insulin was not much but I'd had an increase in insulin recently, so was not good.  The short acting insulin took until 12am last night to get out of my system.  I spoke to 13Health nurse and Doctor rang me back.  He advised me not to take bedtime insulin.  I've just spoken to a Diabetic educator with 13 health.

Thank you all for being so good and supportive. I just need to rest and sleep now, just very tired.
