I guess it can be both @eudemonism. I didn’t mean to suggest otherwise. I think it can be internal and external. I hope you can find some reprieve from your loneliness. Can you do group things with a mental health group? I do a couple and it helps me to connect with people. There are a few organisations that run different interest programs for people with mi. The environment is really supportive in the ones I do.

Yea I been involved with a couple of group things. But found them to be a dead end road. I found it to be degrading after attending for long enough. Although I do give them credit for the good they did and for their intentions.
Being alone is just as important as having company. But I think in an ideal setting... Companionship and social life are signs of doing well... Even if it's complicated.

Morning @frog .....
I have changed locations, was up late, and now up early too, so probably not enough sleep but too mind-busy to doze back off .... so here I am 👋
It does mean that sleep has to go onto my list today, but I reckon if I park up somewhere comfy after lunch and close my eyes, that will happen without much effort.
Other than that I have an errand to run, and will have lunch with no.2 son ......

Hi @Faith-and-Hope hope you get your rest and a good lunch.
Is that emoticon ... a hand grasping a twig?
@frog Sounds like plenty with being available to kidlets thrown into the deal.
For me - a little gardening. music, a driving lesson, kitchen duties.
Take care ALL

It’s a hand waving hello @Appleblossom ..... but I think the presentation of emojis can change between devices, so yours might be showing thicker, darker wave-lines making it look like that hand is holding something. I have had that comment before .....
