Daily goals, motivation and check in

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

I stayed in bed and got more of my knitting done, but not finished yet @frog

Then I got up and made brunch (had a coffee earlier and D2 had a Milo) from leftovers ...... broken up bread (thanks D2 :face_with_rolling_eyes:), spinach, herbs, feta and cheddar cheese, spring onions, couple of eggs, and cooked it as 'fritters' in a pan ...... tasty, and all the bits and pieces went to something .......

Next going to tackle the unloading of the car and finish the storeroom clean-up, then might take a kip (nap) cos I am still not sleeping that great at night.

Sounds like you have got lots done today @Faith-and-Hope and still getting things done.

I hope you are able to fit in a nap.

Just watching the footy here.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Yes, still hoping for a nap @Snowie.  I hope you are enjoying the football ❣️

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

No nap @Snowie @frog, but I have been ticking over with a bit of my artwork, so that's good.  It's something that builds up in layers across a long time, so I have put in a few more layers ✔️

Emptied the car ✔️
Finished boxing up in the storeroom ✔️
Emailed my tutor about an assignment ✔️
Approved an NDIS carer payment ✔️
Unpacked the art supplies ✔️

Too tired to make dinner now, so going to flop for a while.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Great accomplishments @Faith-and-Hope

I did 7 minutes in each room

Pulled weeds for 7 minutes

1 load of washing

walked for 70minutes

Did 7 reps of core strength

About to cook dinner

Happy 7th August everyone @Teej @Appleblossom @Snowie @frog

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Lovely idea @Eve7 ..... 👍

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hi everyone

@Snowie @Appleblossom @Eve7 @Faith-and-Hope @Teej @Shaz51 and allcomers!

How are you going?

I am setting aside my 49 page Centrelink form for now to focus on some other things

  • yoga - trying to maintain my home practice and struggling with motivation even though I know it does me good
  • ironing
  • cooking - going to try a new recipe: buffalo cauliflower. I need to start it early enough that I don't feel tired and fed up by the end of the process!
