Re: Gratitude

And here's my list, everyone.....I am grateful for :

  • My forum family, for always being here, as I don't do people well.  I get so much love and care and acceptance from everyone here
  • My support people, including gp/s, psychologist, counsellors, people at work, who keep telling me I am valued and ask what it is that I need...and continue to be there for me
  • My husband, who is still in hospital after 17 days...and hope that he will be home within the next few days
  • My random bus buddy Lil Bro ...he came into my life when I had a rough time...more about that in the worry room
  • Finally believing that trauma does not define me, although I still have bad and sad days, and I am beginning to accept the goodness of me (if that makes sense)

This is a great thread.  Thankyou.   Heart

Re: Gratitude

I am grateful for another day of enjoying the love and company of my husband and daughter. I am grateful for seeing my friends today - one of whom has not long to live. Each day being with him is a blessing. I am grateful for the good people in my life, they are rare and precious. With all of its sadness, trials, pain, grief, happiness, joy and glory - I am grateful for the gift of life.
