Monday 7-9: What are you actually doing? They are old enough to get themselves dressed, fed, pack their bag and get ready for school. You should just be supervising. I know it's not supportive to say this, but I took myself to school at their age, they can do it too!
4:30 onwards: Schedule half an hour for some relaxation/mindfulness/meditation and another hour for a pleasureable activity. In reality you have the whole evening free. It's making the most of this time. What do you do with your time in the evenings?
I have a suggestion. Have you heard of a food diary? You need to do a time dairy. For a week, take a detailed invintory about what you actually spend your time doing. I did this a few years ago and realised how much time I was wasting on facebook, staring into space and the like. The next step is to write up an hour by hour break down of your week and try and schedule everything in. And then you have to try to stick to it. It's hard, but can be very rewarding if you get into a routine.
Routine is key for me. It makes such a big impact on my productivity and my mood/mental health.
This is my schedule. It's a bit full at the moment, so I need to cut it down quite a bit, but it's just to give you an idea.
There are lots of other time hacks that i can recommend. For example, I get too tired to cook every night. I get home from work/uni/gym at 7/8pm and I'm just exhausted. So on Sundays I make up a few meals - pasta, curry, stew, soup etc and freeze them in portions, so all I need to do is warm it up and steam some veggies and I have my meal done!
