@NatalieS those secret smile things are so neat to have, aren't they!
I do wish I could go to the classes, but my hands would probably not be strong enough to do the work anyway. It's why I had to give up hat making and so much other stuff, but I can still enjoy and be inspired by the beauty and skill of what can be done. It's taken a few years for me to get over being more grumpy that I can't do the work and allow myself to still be inspired though.
When I needed a smile today @CheerBear's comment about @Teej's one day projects in the Craft Corner really gave me a smile cos I got the meaning a bit wrong.
They were not projects that would take only 1 day, which I thought was a big ask, but projects that might one day be accomplished. I'm still giggling at myself and the absurdity of my brain.
OH, and my book arrived today! Sally Wise "Complete Preserves' combined with "Out of the Bottle" Yay, awesome tips and tricks and recipes and ....

I smiled hearing about your smile from my comment about @Teej's comment in craft corner @Former-Member ☺😊 Yay for new books too!
A smile for me came in discovering my rhododendron has flowers poking through. It has lots of little buds that are turning purple and it's beautiful already. It's next to a pink azalea which is also flowering. Unless my memory is way off (which is definitely possible) both of these were flowering much later in the year last year, but I'm not complaining. Love how happy flowers are ❤

It’s so hard sometimes to do this. The last few days have been hard for me to acknowledge anything positive let alone look for it. Today I’ve been back trying to find the small things to get a leg up again.
It came while standing in the chemist waiting for a script to be filled. I was at the perfume stand and sprayed some perfume which smelled nice and made me feel ok. I then went to the body lotion section and smelled lots of nice calming lotions. I couldn’t afford any but I did buy this for 99c as a way to remind me to be mindful in the shower again.
It’s taking me a very long time to get into my brain but I think when I’m not in total crisis mode I’m starting to get this self care stuff. Wanting to tag @Faith-and-Hope for constantly reminding us of self care things she does. For me this has been such a foreign concept. My breathe easy moment was being awakened by scent and then realising this was self soothing/care.

Thanks @outlander it’s nice and thank you for noticing and commenting. I’m sure there are lots of people that are so grateful for your positive support @outlander. I’m watching you grow every day in lots of ways. Today there are lots of people hurting and in the time I had I wanted to give people a 5 second reprieve like you often do. That’s a smile from me today for you too and your kindness. 💜🤗
