The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

The first step is often the hardest @Sans911 . We can all relate to how hard it is to ask for help instead of hiding. Im so proud of you ❤❤

Your most welcome. I hope you can get some sleep tonight. Ill be up for a little while and will watch over you and @Snowie 💜 💙 💖

Goodnight ❤🐬

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Good morning @Sans911 @outlander

Welll my meds did take hold after 20 minutes of trying to get Izzy inside after her midnight dash!

I am so glad to read that things settled down a bit Sans. I am hoping you both got some sleep.

@Sans911I have to say I am so proud of you for staying connected here last night. I know how hard that would have been to do. I feel like a proud sister!!

I love reading over your posts this morning and made me smile, now I have a picture in my head of you being this Cat lady!! Thongs @outlander, what an interesting thing to collectSmiley Tongue

I am home this morning but then out at sports till about 7pm tonight. Will check on you two during the day too however.

I hope today is a little easier for us all.

P.S. @outlander I wouldn't go up in a hot air balloon either. @Sans911 you are very brave to do so!!!

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Morning @Snowie. I'm not sure if you were aware, but I've had 3days of very intense SI. Tues and Wed were really bad nights. I'd rung helplines several times but I was hesitant to reach out to you both because you were also in difficult spaces-don't respond to that. Sometimes it's hard to deal with our pain and to be expected to help!

You, @Teej and outlander were amazing. I'm incredibly grateful to you all. Outlander stayed with me until the small hours, when I finally felt OK to sleep. But I didn't sleep much as I missed my meds.

@outlander and thongs right? Haha, who would of thought. Crazy thong lady, crazy cat lady, what's your crazy collection?

I started reading back a little on the start of this thread last night. Do you ever do that?

I'm going to get back on top of things next week. Back to my walks, meets, etc. I owe it to myself. Damn SI. If I could take that chip out of my brain I would.

BTW, hot air ballooning isn't as scary as you think. Once you're up in the air it's beautiful, serene and magical. I've been fly foxing too but I stop short at bungee jumping or sky diving

Morning @Faith-and-Hope 🐬

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Sans911I knew you had been struggling for awhile hun. But I also knew that there was no point in trying to get you to open up, you had to do that when you felt ready to. I don't think you realise how proud I am of you. Instead of closing down on here you allowed us to sit with you. I am super happy that I was one of the lucky ones that got to do it :heart

Hopefully today you can get some more sleep or at least some rest.

I do sometimes read back on my thread, especially when I am really distressed as half the time I have forgotten what I said! I also do it sometimes as your past words can encourage me once again to keep going.

It is great to hear that you have some plans and yes you do owe it to yourself. Sometimes morning brings some new clarity.

You can tell me hot air ballooning isn't scary but nope, still wouldn't do itSmiley Tongue

Umm if I collect anything it it the old fashioned cupps and saucers, especially the ones made in England. I like searching antique shops or markets for them. Heart

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Morning @Faith-and-Hope - you're short on words? That's definitely not like you. Did you swallow them with your breakfast?

Lil Sis @outlander I'm surprised you're awake. How many hours did you sleep? I owe you a mountain of gratitude for staying with me in the small hours.

Morning @Teej too and thanks a well when you also had similar struggles and are doing it tough right now. I hope you got some rest and are are feeling even a tiny bit better.
