The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Have you booked in to a GP yet @outlander? And let's just sit with these emotions for now

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I had a quick look but will be better on the computer. I saved the link so i can find it tomorrow @Sans911
The only thing is im not all that distressed as in anxious. Im more the opposite of the scale. I just.. i dont know. I dont know what to say. Everytime i think i know what to say like when you ask questions it kind of dissappears. I tried writing it on paper but i just stared at the paper.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

No, i havent. I cant even pronounce the gps name i was reccomended and she doesnt do the online bookings. The others are 2+weeks booked up and arent very good. I usually get the 'i have no idea what your talking about' look.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Distress Tolerance includes anxiety hun.Can you get your Pop or mother to ring for you?-I think it's really important, escpecially if you are feeling worse. You don't know until you see the doctor what reaction you are going to get. You could also try your pdoc, just mark the email urgent or ASAP.

How you eaten today, taken a shower, drank some water-how are you managing these things?

@outlander

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Ill send the pdoc an email and ask if she can get me in any earlier than a few weeks. Ill let her know that im not going that great and she might br able to fit me in abit earlier in thr day or squeeze me in at the end. @Sans911 i made a reminder on my phone with an alarm to do it in the morning.

Ill send the gp practice an email and see if they can make an appt or get them to call me back but will state on the email the gp im aiming to see. At least i can spell it!

Yeah i ate something, been drinking and had a shower earlier. Feel abit like a robot and just doing them without a lot of thought. I tire pretty quickly seems to take longer to do the things around the house and at work-even thats changed but wont get into that tonight.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

You running on really high energy the last two days @outlander so no surprise you are tired. It's ok if you are kinda running on auto pilot. Nothing lasts forever my angel, and this won't either. The fact you stil got through your day is admirable. Well done.

So you have stuff going at work too, and it's ok if you don't want to expand on that. But that makes it doubly hard, doesn't it?

Jasper has come to join me by sitting on the laptop-he says meow!
