Re: Adventures with D

i love giving horses a second chance at life- or at a better life too @Queenie and most of the time the ones thats are free or cheap turn out to be the best ones as well.

ive broken down quite a few times with my horses and they dont seem to mind at all. one of the good thigns about them.

Re: Adventures with D

@Queenie i do have natural horseman ship training as well.

i jsut see how the horse responds or which one they seem to respond to better- if that makes sense. my traingin method is pretty much an allrounder and jsut use whatever works for each horse.

Re: Adventures with D

wow, this is great thread @outlander xxx

Hello @Queenie, @eth Smiley Very Happy

my uncle used to have lots of horses and they were is lots of races

Re: Adventures with D

Thanks @Shaz51

Do you still have horses in the family still?

Re: Adventures with D

Parelli is the word I couldn't remember earlier @outlander

Re: Adventures with D

Ahh yep @eth im trained in that abit too

Re: Adventures with D

@outlander Parelli can be really good but I once met someone who took it too far.  They trained their horse to sit on a bucket for a party trick.

Re: Adventures with D

Hmm yeah im.not that good. I just do the basic things @eth
Im better at working out the more English style training methods but i tske things very gently and slowly. But still being firm and getting my requests across

Re: Adventures with D

@outlander I'm still here.  Can't find the other thread we're talking on just now for some reason.
