@TAB I am surprised no one has picked the air cons up, I know I certainly would! I have put in a request on Freecycle and have been looking on FB marketplace but so far no joy. I am also looking at portable ones from Good Guys/Retravision to get an idea on pricing.
I have had to try and find room for extra furniture and stuff from when I was living with ex best friend so my carport is being used as storage. I have to go through it all and decide what to throw out, donate and sell.
It's all rather daunting but at least now I have the motivation to do something about the clutter. Naturally I choose the hottest week so far to act our my plans!!
Take care my good friend xo

oh, I would steer clear of portable a/cs from my past experince . got top of line one, made a lot of noise, and unbelievable amount of heat from the back of it that putting hose in open window doesnt really cover
so, portable, evap, yes, and they are cheap. refrigerated cost 5x as much and useless
oh ,re teeth have youtried govt dental, cant remember
guess you have sick cert re dole, but did you get job network provider b4 it took effect ? I would ring around and ask re dental vouchers and job agencies to try and get falsies , one of them might be sympatheitc, guess they could just say suck it up and get a cleaner job or factory job tho..

@TAB I moved back into my house in June 2022 after living elsewhere for 8 years and I still have the carport full of stuff I don't have room for, like a dining table and chairs, a couple of book cases and a crap load of folded up boxes b*tch ex friend dumped on me without my knowledge. There is also an old CRT TV and a box of linen. I look at it all and shake my head, trying to work out where in heck I am going to put everything

@TAB I am going to contact the Govt dental service and they will give me a voucher to use. You have to say you're in pain or you go on the wait list (you probably already know this) but that won't be hard to do.
My regular dentist is one the Govt dental uses so I will be able to see my own dentist which is good. I do have to see a specialist regarding the plate.
My dentist recommended not getting false teeth for the bottom teeth as they don't sit properly and there is no suction to keep them in place like a top set will.
I also have a very healthy super so I can access that too if necessary.
I do have a JSA (Job Services Agent) but I don't like her and will be requesting someone else once my exemption expires.
I feel I am closer to being ready to work now which I suppose is a good thing!
What about you? Did I read that you have a job in the city?

@TAB if you lived in Perth I would take moggy! I am not quite a crazy cat lady yet, only have 2 cats!
I wasn't given a choice when I applied this time, they automatically made me stay with the same provider I'd had before. I didn't mind that so much as the JSA I'd had previously was really good. The new one though doesn't seem to understand mental health issues. One week she's telling me to take it easy and the next she is demanding I contact an employer to do casual work even though I told her I needed permanent. I did have some satisfaction when I told her I had an exemption though. It's the little things!!
I hope you are able to sort out accom and moggy. Is it a job you'd like to take?
