I get triggered by the smallest things these days. I can't control it and then everything goes haywire again. And then the SI and SH comes flooding back. Stupid mind games

@outlanderits just all these things I have to do for work cover since I am on it at the moment. I have this return to work person that checks in with me once a week. She is actually a psychologist but works for this complany. She is the one that consults with my GP, psychologst and psychiatrist. I just spoke to her before. I have only meet her once in real life.
I am meant to tell her how I am going, what has been happening, talk about symptoms, flashbacks, etc. So it feels like talking to a complete stranger about what has been happening. I just cant cope with it and end up in tears and then get triggered because everything comes back up to the surface. And now all I am trying to do it stop myself from SH again.

hugs Nell it does sound tough and i can understand why you would feel upset.
i dont want to make you distressed so pull me up if you dont want to answer... if she consults with all your mh supports... why do you have to explain ecerthing over again?
have you spoke to her already or is that coming up? it could help you to speak about how your going and what you can do now to move forward...
ok remember the things that work for you when it comes to SH, hold ice in both hands, watch big bang theory, have a bath, talk here.....

@outlanderits all to do with work cover, to be able to get it I have to have contact with her. I don't tell her the worst parts by far, but just even telling her a little bit triggers me. No I have already spoken to her just before, that why I feel like I do now. I think after the last few days it has hit me and now all I've got in my head is SI and SH. I've got ice, got big bang theory on already. I hate this feeling
