Something’s not right

when is it time for hospital

Re: when is it time for hospital

They removed the entire thing and abit more aurrounding just in case @Sans911 otherwisr it mightve only been 4 sutures but i have 8 so she took quite a bit out.

. Its been 2 and a half hours since i was given general. Not really sure how lobg it lasts but im not really in pain. Im dreading when it wears off though.
The nurse said only if i feel i really need it take pain relief such as pa**dol
The real only other directions are take it easy and keep it dry. I see another nurse on friday to get it checked and dressing changed. Then next friday i see them again to get them removed.
Not sure when the results will be back ill know either of the Fridays.

Yeah im trying to just take it easy. Wearing abit doen since panic attack though but im ok. Im just glad its done for today. Now to just take it day by day. Plan some easy activities to keep kids occupied. Might go to the movies and walks around near the parks. Not really sure what else as this come up quickly so its reatricted me already

Re: when is it time for hospital

Hi again @outlander

It's really important not to pull those stitches - I am totally amazed that you have to do anything today or tomorrow even - that your mother has gone away right when you have had to have this done - leaving you in charge of your sisters - I had better not say too much

But yeah - waiting is the hard part - I will be doing the same so we can wait it out together

But the operation is over now - and so is the throwing up - try something very light when your appetite comes back - toast and egg or something - and let your sister fix something for herself and your little sister - how hard can that be

So - sitting here still and watching with you - Dec

Re: when is it time for hospital

@Owlunar im not doing anything else today, not doing much tomorrow either. mum will still be around until late tomorrow night so ill prob really noly have to get kids to bed. but other than that im not doing anything.

starting to get abit of pain now.... its been 3 hours now. cant feel full effects but its getting niggly pains and twinges.

yes @Owlunar we can wait it out together.

do you want to join nell, shaz and i for a uppa and afteroon tea. i put up pics but might not be able to see them as yet

Re: when is it time for hospital

@outlander try to take some pain killers earlier rather than later. Like now if it's starting to ache. No problems with taking painkillers every 4-6 for a few days. It's quite acceptable

Re: when is it time for hospital

Ok @Sans911 its nearly 3 and a half hours now so im not surprised. Its really harr as im right handed and thats the side that needs more rest now. Its hard as i go to do things automatically already with things.
