well today was quite an adventure.

Started off by going to work early this morning. Then my family and I went to the botanical gardens. I think it was just the thing I needed. Nature is often one of the only things that can ground me and the beauty of some of the things never cease to amaze me. I dont think ill ever get bored of looking at nature. I took heaps of pictures and have another drawing in mind too now.
We all went out for lunch too. Take away- naughty naughty but Ive been good and still picked the healthiest thing I could find on the menu.
And then the blasted beautiful weather dissappeared and now its freezing and bucketing down! I managed to get all 5 horses in my care and all the paddock checks done in a matter of an hour. Im completely drenched and my foot well thats another story. Might have to stay off it tomorrow or up my pain releif yet again.
i think this was the 'refresher' that i needed. i was very worn out and tired but seems to have lifted abit thank god for that.
ill upload some pictures- just gotta find them

Glad you had the opportunity to get out before the weather became bad @outlander. I, too, love nature. Maybe one day, I'll move away from the city and live in the bush. I'm only here because that's where my kids are. If they were to move away for work, I'd probably be somewhere else.
Sorry to hear that your foot is feeling bad. Keep it up and keep warm.
