YUM @Faith-and-Hope
A couple of years ago I was doing a concert in a fancy hotel and they had a model table brimming with beautiful dishes, platters of game, fruits and cakes. It was the size of a real long dining table ....and very colourful.

@Appleblossom, in Japan, restaurants display "sampuru"- plastic or resin models of food as a kind of 3D menu. Some of them look almost disturbingly real.

Good to see you too @Appleblossom 🤗💕
@Former-Member, they weren’t my creation (bikkies) .... just an example of papier-mâché food art .....

@Appleblossom, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only adult in the modern world who hasn't got a drivers' license! Mind you, you're doing better than me taking lessons. I'm not really up to trying to learn something new at the moment, so my poor learners' permit languishes in my purse until a bank teller asks for photo ID... It's been languishing for a loooong time.

oooh dear @Smc lol ...
I have walked, cycled etc and have sympathy for non car users and use a lot of public transport where possible, but I meant
I was doing a lesson with my son ... who is 25 ... so he counts ... as adult still on his learners ...
I almost wish I did not have a licence ... I was even glad when I lost it a few years ago for a year ... I could stop being chauffeur ... we survived without it ... but as I have it back ... gotta do the right thing ...expand horizons responsibly ...
