Thanks for being so thoughtful @outlander - actually that's awesome
Yes - do tell your GP about your upset stomach - I told my doctor about mine late in the afternoon and although I didn't cook anything I had plenty of fruit and yoghurt for dinner
My toe is out in the open now - I still have most of the nail left and no sign of the bottom of the nail starting to grow again which is the plan I think. It has a healthy scab that will flake of in my sock or in bed when it's ready - so glad this is over
I am reliant on pain medication and that has other implications but I am taking less and less all the time and putting up with the pain that is easier to manage over the years - but I have to be regular with what I am taking or things can get out of control. I think that is possible with all sorts of medication - I have known people to get into trouble just stopping their pain medication and it gets bad suddenly - I suppose that goes with a lot of stuff
But you need to settle your tummy too - like I am - tomorrow I cook - I have already decided to do that - and eat the stir-fry and freeze the soup - my soup is thick enough to eat with a fork
I will be off to bed soon

Hi @outlander
I am careful with what I read and write - just taking lighter things on - I am feeling okay today so far - and I slept in for a long time which was actually wonderful
With your dry-gagging etc - if anyone sees you don't explain - I know it's not a good look but just say you ate something it would be better if you had not and it is taking time for your digestion to settle - people understand that
I have started preparing something for a stir-fry and soup - I intend to eat better in the future - I have had times when my tummy has been upset and it takes time to get my appetite back - and I usually eat healthy food so my snacks are healthy food but not a balanced diet either
If you think your medication is making things worse for you - I think you see your doctor on Monday - tell her and ask her if this is possible
I must say that you are dealing with all of this in a very mature way - you may not feel as if this is the case but it seems so to me
