@outlander if I was continuing on the other thread I would keep re-inforcing the idea of 'belonging' as that seems to be the underlying issue for Jay95. That has been taken away from him through the ban and he is feeling really displaced - so continuing to let him know he not only belongs here but is also very much valued I would see as the way to go. You may not get stuck in the 'merry-go-round' around the ban from the other site and his very negative mindset around that. Just a suggestion though

thanks @Zoe7 ill try and keep reinforcing the belong fact. i think we all know that feeling all to well, its jsut getting it out into something helpful to others that ive gotta work on. i get so lost in what to say esp in the merry go round i just try and pick a point thats different and try and run with that. seems to be the point on belonging atm so will keep reiterating that hes valued here.
