Your circumstances at work are very different from mine @Former-Member. I know the things that have happened for you there - we have talked about it before - so I can completely understand why you couldn't even drive past the place 
I find it hard driving to the school for very different reasons (apart from my physical inability to do so atm). It is in the same area that I grew up in and so there are all those past memories to dela with. Then late last year I found out something that made it even harder. I am really stuck in a difficult position as I am not sure I can go back to that school but I am nearly certain that going somewhere else would be even harder with completely new people also - but not something to worry about for now as even the thought of going back to work is a long way off.
The current Principal is only in an acting role until the position is filled permanantly - so there is also the very real chance that this one will not be there after this term. Too many changes - and I really don't cope well with such big changes!
