Hi @Zoe7
I've been meaning to ask you / how is the DBT going? Are you enjoying it? Getting much out of it?

I am going to need to get dinner organised soon - just coloured my hair @Faith-and-Hope - it is much brighter than I expected but I have a lot of natural red in my hair so I shouldn';t be surprised - hopefully it tones down a bit over the next few days lol

The first module (8 weeks) was super tough @BlueBay and I didn't say anything. I found the pdoc that was delivering the program to not have much of an idea about what she was doing - she was being 'supervised' by the normal facilitator (the psychologist) and when she took over to lead the sessions it was a lot easier to cope with. The psych has been running most of the second module so far and the difference in delivery is very noticeable - and easier to relate to. I actually spoke last week which was a real shock to me I have made a couple of connections with other participants and I am finding the new members for this module to be really nice. I think I am starting to find my feet a bit but it is still very draining and I have been triggered a lot. Having my pdoc appointment on the same day certainly helps to work through things that come up in the DBT session.

I am not having a good night @Faith-and-Hope - needed some HC help and have taken extra meds to try to help me sleep - no luck thus far
How was your night out with S1?

DIL wasn’t feeling well so had to go home early, but S1 came back to spend the rest of the evening with us .... seeing as “us” included several of his friends who have come across here too.
S2, despite having slept well overnight, is clearly in sleep-debt cos he went back to bed late morning and slept another 8 hours, so around 16 / 24 hours. Have come home now and he is asleep again. Mr. had stayed home with him.
The dinner and (young) company were lovely.
