So the news this morning from the Principal was not good - she basically said No. She is going to be away for the next 2 weeks and doesn't feel it is appropriate for me to be there when she isn't. I asked about next term when she is back and was not positive about that either - so now it will all need to be done through HR. I am very flat but it is what it is and I can't do anything to change it - there is nothing more I could do that I haven't already done.
My pdoc has written a letter for HR to say that I capable of returning to work part-time with a gradual increase to full-time. I will only know how that is received once I send it off to HR and I can't do that until I scan it at my sister's place (I still can't afford to buy a new printer/scanner to replace my broken one 
).
I see my GP on Monday and I will get her to write a similar letter to show that both my pdoc and gp are on the same page - hope that is enough!
