It is my second to last night here at the break place. Today was probably my best day here. I had a meeting with nearly everyone in my support team to discuss going home and what the plan was. I was sooo anxious about this meeting that I couldn't relax to go to sleep last night and struggled through therapy group this morning. The meeting went well. I found out my diagnosis... depression, social anxiety and the new one which no one has told me before which is BPD with DPD traits.
I feel like a lightbulb has gone off in my head, like I've just got another piece of the puzzle. I have some new/more strategies to help calm myself down and I will be getting a weighted blanket. I will be referred to start a DBT group and I'm feeling for the first time in a long time that I can see a glimpse of light in the darkness around me. I know it's going to be really tough and long road ahead but I have a plan and a good support team around me. i will continue with the neurofeedback therapy also.
From when the police took me to hospital, actually the last 2 months with all the times I presented to ED in distress, has been such an emotional roller coaster and I thought I was going to die and not make it through, I'm still here and still battling and looking forward to getting my tattoo soon which will remind me of my strength and journey so far.

Hi @STORMGRL101. It's really good to read your positivity in your post and the hope you now have. I just wanted to touch base with you as I have DPD with BPD traits, anxiety and depression. I'm still floundering a fair bit but have a good understanding of it all now. I start DBT next week. Please feel free to tag me if you want to talk about anything.

it sounds like you have had a good lightbulb moment. its good to hear your getting better and you have some more coping strategies as well for when you leave
