Hi @Sophia1. I hope you managed some rest after a long sleepless night. I have been out with a friend. We had a coffee at Bunnings, then I bought some pavers to put down sometime, just four, as its muddy outside my back door. Sometime. They are on the muddy grass now.
@greenpea@outlander I used to night walk, years ago now. It was safer then, now I don't feel safe out at all, not even in the daytime, and I think tassie is much safer than most states. Your key protection sounds good @greenpea but still unsafe I feel, and sadly, what you say about women being unsafe and ending up being blamed, so true.
@Adge That is awful what is happening to you. Like @Sophia1 suggested, reporting it if you can. You should be able to shop without harassment. As far as the MH not being there or letting you know.. How rude they are. Says so much about their attitude.
I might have a shower and head to bed for a rest. Lovely chatting here, Thankyou.

Thanks @Sophia1
Thanks @Maggie
As a temporary solution - I went looking, & found the internal back lane, through the building from the other carpark on the other side of the building.
The lane takes me right through, up to the Asian supermarket - whilst totally avoiding the front carpark where the scammers are targeting.
The lane is well-frequented by people walking through, although this carpark (other side) is less used.
I would not want to walk through there at night though.
I knew the walking lane was there, I just had to look for it, because I haven't gone through there before.
It's still upsetting & annoying, because once again I'm changing my habits & behaviour - just to avoid other people's bad behaviour.

Hi @Sophia1 I read what you said on Worry Room thread.
I just want to let you know that I have experienced what you describe, & that I often feel similar.

good morning @Maggie @outlander @greenpea @Former-Member @Adge
Maggie. lovely that you went with a friend and had a coffee out together....I am glad that you have that option...
It has been sometime since I have done that ....due to health of friend and then my own operation recovery...
Have you had time to place the pavers yet?...A good idea.....I did that very same thing in front of the bird aviary....there are some plants growing in front....which were previously just chopped back to clear a path...I spotted 4 old pieces of slate in the garage and embedded them in the soil....looks better...far more practical and safe...
you will enjoy your finished work...
outlander...I hope that the photography that I read about is lifting your spirits....in turn further helping your wrist on it's healing journey...
greenpea read that you went for your walk after dawn....that still would have been nippy...yet crisp...I used to walk very early in the mornings....I felt like a different person....that time will come again ...I just need to be patient and a realist for now...
lapses....what did you end up doing on your day of respite? hope that you found some benefit no matter how small....an opportunity to rejuvenate some much needed energy...are you able to do any of your craft these days?
adge...I am glad that you thought through your options in regards to the supermarket....Thinking of the other carpark and lane access was a good idea....as you also mentioned during daylight only...the fact that there are a number of menacing people begging will come under the scrutiny of the police eventually...
well my two days of outings...friday and saturday...on my feet for far longer than I have been since before my operation has aggravated my pain level....I was running high on adrenaline on saturday night...we went out for a meal at one of the local lovely old pubs...table next to the fire...then home and on the forums until all hours of the morning...
sunday rested....last night took ages to get to sleep...did manage to finally have about 7 hours I think...hopefully this will continue to settle back into a regular pattern...as I do take a sleeping tablet still...
hope that you all have a day with something that you can smile at....no matter how small...in fact the smaller....the more simple...the bigger the smile for me...
take care all you lovely people on the forums....

Evening @Sophia1 the pavers will have to wait till a bit warmer. It's freezing here, visible snow on the mountains, and a very very chilly wind. I picked up my cross stitch today, I can only do short spells due to concentration problems. I enjoy the time I spend however short though. I rarely venture out, so coffee out is a big deal. I'm trying and slowly getting somewhere.
Your outing at the old pub sounded lovely even though it drained your energy levels. I hope your recovery continues. Slow is hard, but so often the only way to go for a breakthrough of any sort.
I'm going to have a shower and get myself ready for Home and Away followed by House Rules, then, another long sleepless night.
Small smiles are definitely the best.
I hope you have a good sleep tonight.💜💜💜
