Reason I couldn’t think about having a pet at the moment is, because our last two cats disappeared for weeks. One passed away in someone’s yard. The other one was missing for weeks. When found. Had to be “put down”. It still devastates me.
Sorry to be so morbid, just thought I’d explain. There’s more to the story, but I don’t want to upset you (or me).
Nice thought though to maybe get another cat, but I think you understand why I can’t think about it now.
