Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

hello @Sophia1 it would be nice to go but i dont know when i will be able to. i was hoping to go this week or early next week but 3 clients havent paid for the past 3 weeks so am really short as well. i have reminded them but essentially i cant force them.

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @outlander

You must be feeling extremely annoyed with these clients who owe you money for your hard work...

I am not sure of what the set up is...whether you have any recourse or not...

certainly would not do any more work for them until you are paid...

Are you able to think of a less expensive outing...where you still get to enjoy your new car?

Having the other idea still as an option for the future...

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

I am annoyed @Sophia1
Ill check again tonight and see what happens. sometimes it takes a few days to come though so will wait till tonight before sending them a text.

hmm im not sure, im currently looking at dentists. ive got 2 wisdom teeth causing troubles and a tooth thats recently broken. ive been putting it off cause i cant afford it (and am terrified of dentists) but i cant put it off anymore.
my drives are usually just from one place to another, the best places to look and drive to range from half hr to and hr and a half away. it would be really great to go for a day trip. i very rarely get anytime away

How are you going today? have you been able to get out to your garden today?

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

Thankyou for understanding @Sophia1

💜💖🌷

Did you go to group today?

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @outlander

ouch about your teeth....you must have gone out in sympathy for @Mazarita

wisdom teeth can be very painful..

a broken tooth as well....

some dentists do concessions...might also be open to payment in instalments if you have a quiet word with the receptionist...especially if you have been there before...always worth investigating...you would not be alone with that issue if you do not have private health extras...

short trips can be good to...just to escape...

I enjoy the ten minute drive to the pool..

I actually got to the meetup with a group at a community centre...35 minutes away...sounds ridiculous when we have a community centre in our little town...this group is for anyone who wants to socialise...do art...craft...music..without judgement...

I got there late as every day is different...husband drove me thank goodness as I would  have got lost...he went fishing..no he did not catch anything but it was a nice day here today...

there were many people coming and going during the three and a half hours that I was there...

it was strange at first as I have not really been out...I found my old self return...a smile on my face and open to chatting...thoroughly enjoyed the music jamming...

It felt wonderful to forget about everything...apart from my back which was killing me sitting...I just have to deal with that..

so I hope to go twice a week if my body allows me to and I manage not to get lost...

Thank you for asking too ....I know that you have been struggling for a while yourself...

I do hope that you too can find something that will help you to forget about everything no matter how brief a period in time...Heart

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

yes I got there I just wrote about it in a lengthy reply to outlander...

Once I was there a while...I found myself...I loved it...had some laughs with some beautiful people

all of us so very different...

to find a sparkle in another's eye when I said something or laughed myself was momentous...

life really is about the little things...sounds corny...is so true..

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

thanks @Sophia1 i have been to scared to ever go to a dentist except the ones through school so am draggin mum and the kids with me lol and they can start getting checkups.
mmm i thought it was my neck injury playing up. one wisdom tooth has been popping up but only partially and on the opposite side the others just starting to come through but at an angle. Fun times- need an eye roll emoji here!
theres a few im looking at and they offer both sedation and payment plans and have been really highly reccomended by others so am looking into those.

Short trips are good but have to save petrol. people huh. and have been having a few physical things happening, ended up having to sit for a while otherwise prob wouldve collapsed.

wow that sounds great! i do hope you can go back there again. nd your hubby is pretty good too, they are often good at amusing themselves arent they! its good when we catch glimpses of our old self and while you mightve been nervous it really seems you fit right in chatting to people and enjoying the music etc.
I care very much about you @Sophia just sometimes ive no clue what to say or how to help. i usually just leave a trial of 'likes'

Hugs but gentle ones Heart

Hi @Former-Member i know your doing it tough too, is D any better today? Hugs for you too Heart

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

oh that is lovely @outlander

I think that most of us feel that way...never knowing the right thing to say...at risk of offending..

I have offended several...not intentionally though

it is the nature of this type of communication sadly...

without tone of voice...facial expression..body language it is so easy to misinterpret a person's meaning...

throw in emotions ...

so write whatever you want whenever you want...

I am honest which is probably what makes most people wary...

you mean a lot to me too outlander...Heart

Re: I Re: Living with Ourselves

i have offended people before too @Sophia1 i think its the risk we take being on the forums esp without being able to red their body language and tone as well. But i like the benefits much more and those are making friends, gaining insight and knowledge, and learning how to cope better and keep safe.

your are so loveley Sophia dont change that will you. i like you just the way you are Heart
