The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Awww @Teej

I really enjoyed our conversation too. I got to know you a little more. I actually didn't realise until recently that you had children.

I often follow members stories because something about their story resonates with me. But I'm mindful of treading into that space with established relationships.

I don't know if I've told you this, but I felt very honoured you chose me to have a conversation with that day, and appreciated it on many levels. Can I ask what were your thoughts behind sharing some of you and initiating that chat?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Hmmm @Sans911. Sure you want to open Pandora’s box with that question 😜😃

it came from lots of places. I had read a few of your posts and knew that we’d had some similar experiences with sh and attempts. It came from me not being happy with myself on the forum. I felt that it was unfair to read everyone else’s vulnerabilities but not sharing many of mine. It’s come from wanting to try to reconnect with how I used to be on the forum a long time ago when I connected with members better and made friends. It came from being interested and curious about you and wanting to know more. It came from understanding what it’s like to be a single woman at this age (I’m thrre yrs older) and trying yo find a purpose and place in this world. I’d just like to know you better really. Sorry you asked 😜

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Nope, not sorry at all @Teej

Thank you for your honesty, bravery and courage. It's a privilege to know you and again, I feel very honoured. Its almost a shame this is the end of the day, but this just a my good day great 😊

I unfortunately have to go to sleep very soon before my meds have me making no sense at all, and I face plant my phone, so it's a goodnight from me. And if you're keen, let's have or continue that conversation soon.

@outlander

I've had a sleep in today when Jasper come for a cuddle on my chest, so feeling a little better. I've a volunteer meeting in an hour, which I'm looking forward to. It's a cool, overcast day here, with more rain forecast later. Hoping you are all OK, okish or hanging on to whatever you need to to keep you going. Take care, and wishing a little light in your day.
