I hope you're all having a good as possible day 😊😊

Hehe your calendar is the best @Mustang67 🤣. I think that is how I feel every time I go on a walk or do group exercise lol.

@Dreamy doing Diamond Art would take an enormous amount of concentration.
The only time I have that level of concentration is under threat from machinery.
A folder is a good idea. ✅

@Glisten it definitely does but it is good to keep the mind distracted.
Haha under threat from machinery 😂.
My concentration hasn't been great lately and I have several things that I've been trying to do but only do very small amounts at a time. Oh well they'll all get completed eventually 😂

@ENKELI you clock me so easily!
How do you know that I get up early?
I love starting the day sitting in bed with my coffee, taking my meds, slow starts, but not too slow. 😁
Gernat:
Mary Gernat illustrator. Did cover designs for Enid Blyton paperback books?
Because you don’t strike me as an Ice Hockey player 🙃 from Slovakia 🇸🇰
Did your vet tell you why you are feeling Blah?
I also picked up meds today.
Had a shite nights sleep last night. Probably because it’s the first time that I’ve returned a timber project unfinished.
The guys were great and said to me, “you don’t have time for this.”
Normal, logical, retired tradie blokes. They are like a breath of fresh air after dealing with office personnel, administrators, academics and professional bullies who are made of Teflon.
Big HUGS for you and Mr MM 🤗

@Mustang67 Now THAT is a calendar not for the faint hearted 😜

@Glisten you are an organised, no nonsense person and you like routine. All good things in a person.
I am very naughty and watch TV in bed so sometimes I may not get up and dressed for the day until midday, depending on how I am feeling.
I didn't see the vet as I am no longer feeling blah. I've been doing good the past couple of weeks (taps head and says touch wood) and I am going to see how I am the next couple of weeks. If I "relapse" in the the meh/blah then I am going to make an appointment. I ordered the scripts online as it is cheaper to do them via their website than making an appointment to see the vet. They used to bulk bill for anyone with a healthcare card but when my vets' son took over the practice he put a stop to that. More interested in making money than taking care of patients.
No to the gernat, as I said, it started as just plain gnat and evolved.
Stop being so hard on yourself, like the guys said, you don't have time for it. Nor do you have time to be hard on yourself. Do I have to send MM over to give you a bat on the cheek?! He may or may not use claws 😁
There is a bloke I dealt with in a previous work life that I call Mr Teflon. He's the one who let my replacement tell me I had lost my job a week after assuring me my job was safe and me going into debt buying Paris. He's quite well known in the CoS and certain industries. He likes to make sure his employees are all casuals so he can fire them without having to go through the steps normal employers do. If he wasn't such a pr*ck I would contact him regarding tradies because while he's a pr*ck the people he hires are not.
We have an arborist for the tree removal, now I just need to find a decent sparkie and plumber.
The other stuff will have to wait until a) the old man shuffles off or b) 2029 when I turn 60 and can access my super.

@Dreamy I totally get it. I live that truth everyday.
People who knew me before don’t understand.
No one understands unless they have lived it.
You can’t physically do it. It’s like expecting a one legged person to sprint and then getting angry at them because they can’t do it.

02-10-2025 07:50 PM
@Glisten exactly those that haven't been through it don't understand.
My brain just bounces from one thing to another so it's helpful to have many projects on the go and that way I've always got something to do.
That analogy is perfect and so true.

@ENKELI sleeping until midday would freak me out and mess with my body clock so badly.
Think I might start my Friday with a sauna. I need to sweat these croissants out.
Hey if I say “croissant“ to Google with a French accent, it doesn’t understand me. But if I use a nasal Australian accent it knows what I’m saying 😂 BAHAHA
