That sounds great, @Sammy16. At least if you start with the short course, you'll get an idea of whether you like it and whether it's worth investing in the diploma.

Hi @BambiFawn@BambiFawn@PeppiPatty@Former-Member
I graduated from University when I was fifty and went on and did a teaching certificate at TAFE and started teaching
Then I had to go into early retirement for health reasons - what a disappointment that was
BUT - I still study privately - this way I don't have to read anything I am not interested in and there are no exams or essays - oh yes - they are called papers now
HOWEVER -every chance I get I encourage people to study - this is the most powerful self-help tool there is - of course - there is the qualifications gained - but apart from that just the exposure to academic life and the enabling learned from research and the social contact
I could go back and study but at this stage of my life and with chronic spinal pain - no - but because some doors are closed - let's not give up - there is on-line study for those who want to take that path
It took me 12 years go do a four year degree - there is no reason to feel discouraged - take the academic world in small nibbles until you feast on it - and as all of this gains momentum - so will you
I survived the worst years of my life because I was studying - it kept me going when it seemed all around me was dark -
So - all of you - go for your studies - there is something so valuable there I would have sold everything I had to achieve what I did -
