🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., 🖼

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., 🖼

Feeling a little like this lady looks. Quietly getting on with older technology, even tho this is a photo and not hand drawn or painted. I think I posted same image for you once.

Thanks for asking.

As the saying goes, "Surrealism is not my cup of tuna", but I like Andrew Wyeth's work. Smiley Happy

😊 Not my cup of tuna either @Smc @outlander ..... but I can appreciate it. It is quirky and creative regardless.

Hi @Appleblossom... I've found the source of your photo. "Jessie Tarbox Beals (1870 – 1942) was an American photographer, the first published female photojournalist in the United States mostly known for her portraits of places such as Bohemian Greenwich Village." There's a bunch of her photos on this page. They look like such happy, everyday life photos. It's odd thinking that these people were the radical artistes of their day.

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., 🖼

Yes @Smc I liked the historical context of it.

She was colouring scarves for sale .. not actually cooking.

Hope you are not too bad ...

@outlander

I love the lacey curtain flowing with the breeze, too.  Since being on this forum, I started to do my own art schooling and like searching gallery sites now.  due to wonderful influence of @Smc @Faith-and-Hope
