Baking

Re: Baking

Mr Nooks can make a mean carrot cake! I don't know his recipe though. And he has to omit the walnuts cos I'm allergic to them. I like to make anything with condensed milk in so I can eat the condensed milk while I'm baking! I am such a sweet tooth @outlander and I'm really bad at making dinners but I cook anyway and Mr Nooks eats what ever I give him and pretends it's nice ha ha.

Re: Baking

Ooh have you made chocolate balls @Former-Member? If not i can give you the recipie its super simple.
Haha im.sure your cooking not that bad

Re: Baking

No I've not made choc balls but they sound good! I made a pasta sauce to go with some store bought ravioli the other night and Mr nooks thought I'd bought the sauce out of a jar and he told me not to buy it again because it's not very nice 😂 Lucky I don't take offence!! What's your specialty thing you can make @outlander?

Re: Baking

Haha lol @Former-Member

Ill post the recipie to the chocolate balls later they are super easy to make.

Im making a carrot cake now then trying my hand at a red velvet cake.

My specialities are more desert style things but i seem to be good at cakes cookies and brownies the best

Re: Baking

Me too! Although my banana cake was a bit of a fail... crunchy on top and sloppy on the inside... Mr Nooks ate it with a spoon and some ice cream, bless him! Red velvet cake is so good. A lady at my work made red velvet cake pops - she said you make the cake and then blend it with some icing to make it a bit doughy, then roll into balls and poke a skewer in and dip in white chocolate. Honestly; so bloody delicious! @outlander looking forward to the choc balls recipe!
