@Blackcloud ok here is an oldie but a goody re depressing songs tell me what you think . there is a story behind the lyrics - the singer had epilepsy and it was only getting worse.... he did himself in. Im probably older than you but when I was a teen I was really into this band and their super moody songs https://youtu.be/FD2SfQJOK08?si=O_AafsY_Wdg7b0XZ

Im not listening to songs yet @Blackcloud But I truly agree on depressing music. I used to absolutely and completely like listening to Good Will Hunting’s soundtrack by Elliot Smith in about year 2000.
In 2003, I went to America for over two months in California, and asked my brother to get us all tickets from Viper Room to see home play. It didn’t happen, see info on Elliot Smith.
He was a depressing singer…..

Hey guys @PeppyPatti @greenpea so i gave both songs a listen - to be honest, I’m not really into the oldie songs/artists except for a few of The Carpenters songs as I’m a gen z 😅
Lost Control - not really a fan of it (song wise). I’ve found out that the singer’s name is Ian. It’s sad to know that he died really young 😞 he seemed like a great man/singer and was able to make an impact through the band’s music as well as the lyrics in these songs. I’ve looked up the lyrics for this song too and it makes sense.
Miss Misery - this one was totally a vibe. I can imagine playing this on a rainy day like when I’m in a car or something 🙂 i haven’t looked up anything about the singer yet but will do after I post this! But it seemed like he died as well? 😞 please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong on that! 🙏🏼
