@Former-Member Oh I super super SUPER love your portrait of me!!!! I feel all warm and fuzzy that you have put so much time and effort into drawing me. I have to say, your picture is a vast improvement on the original one. That original one must have been a picture someone took of me just after they told me how amazingly awesome I am. I mean really, look at the size of my head!!!! How could I ever fit that giant head into that puny little shell when I need to hide from the world!!! Your picture shows my true proportions much better. Would it be ok if I hang your picture up in my corner of the octagonal room? I will put it right next to my Finding Nemo pictures.
I noticed that @Former-Member is thinking about turning our pictures into one of her cool clipart creations. That would be super cool. I'm like you @Former-Member - creative but not able to draw to save my life. It is only in the past few years that I've come to understand this distinction. Growing up, I was teased a lot about my poor drawing ability and thus never really thought of myself as "creative." However, I totally agree with what @Faith-and-Hope said about there being many forms of creativity.
I have found that technology has really helped me to be able to compensate for my lack of drawing ability - I get the sense it might be the same for you, @Former-Member? For example, I really enjoyed creating powerpoint presentations at uni. It amazed me that I could produce something that looked so cool. I would really like to get into model building or something like that, but alas I don't really have the space.
Anyway, thank you again for my awesome picture @Former-Member.
