i got told for days it was number over 365 as in 7/365 meaning for days @Sans911

OD- one daily? i wasnt taught that beleive it or not, they taught 2 3 and 4 times a day but not jsut the one!
oh duh i didnt even think to use the weeks abbreviation!!
is there an abbreviation for presription? there was an Rx but thats treatment but no prescribtion appreviation?

@outlander, I have never used 365 term, nor has any other nurse. There's just too much to write there!!!

So those terms mean exactly what it states-once a day, twice a day or three times a day. If you want to be specific, especially if analgesia or other medication that has specific timing, you can state q8h (every 8hours), q12h, etc.If you take these meds less than those timings, you risk potential chronic toxicity. Hmm, I need to be careful here of SANE guidelines hun.
Rx actually mean prescription (to take). Most abbreviations are from the latin terminology.
I am struggling with words today as I just had a tricky phone call to deal with, and my head's in a bit of mess. I will discuss on my thread when I can sort out how to write about it. This is where I need @PhoenixRising, who despite her protests at being in frequent muddles, is actually a very smart turtle and writes incredibly well.
