Re: My Mosaic

Was the feedback and complaints sent to your CM, or was it through their complaints channel? @Bow

It may take a while to get to them if you went through an organisation's channel. At the same time, you can be sure it will go through the right processes.

I hear you feel you want more support right now. I wonder if your CM actually doesn't know how to provide you more support? Have you mentioned what added support looks like for you?

Hope things improve for you soon.

Re: My Mosaic

Complaint was put through the proper channels at local area health @tyme  the patient liaison officer read it, addressed it with community mental health and then informed me of such and that comm mh will contactme.

it was done pretty promptly.

just feel like such a burden. Not worth the hassle and bother.

Re: My Mosaic

Ahhh, makes sense. @Bow

It's such a strong narrative in that you don't feel you are worth the bother or 'hassle'. Maybe people really do care?

I know we care.

At the same time, I hear how strong these schemas are.

How is schema therapy going anyway? I feel I haven't heard much about it in a while.

Re: My Mosaic

They certainly don’t show it @tyme

Schema therapy group is going ok. Finally getting back into it after it was cancelled for a few weeks. And everyone was there this week.
its super hard work though. Even just showing up is hard. We’re all pretty good at recognizing the inner critic. But that’s about it. Did some work this week on the over controller (pretty much all our ED behaviours). It’s a common one for all of us. Still really struggle with health self and inner child. Work in progress. We do a lot of chair work. And we each do a check in.

Re: My Mosaic

When you say 'chair' work, what do you mean @Bow ?

Re: My Mosaic

Each schema part has a chair in the room and when we start talking from that part we move to it @tyme it helps us to identify and separate them all.
my psychologist for individual therapy is doing this with me now too as a continuation.

Re: My Mosaic

That's really really cool. So as you are talking, do you keep moving chairs? What happens if someone else is in the chair? Or does everyone sit somewhere else and when it is time for them to talk, they can sit in whatever chair? @Bow

That's pretty interesting as a way to help people recognise the schema that is 'talking'.

Is this a well known strategy? Or is it something only your group does?

Re: My Mosaic

We usually do one person at a time @tyme  we will do our check in…. And as we start talking, if the facilitator starts recognizing certain schemas, they will tell us to move to a certain chair. And then we keep moving through out a check in. Then someone else will do their check in.
We will also do a group exercise, and we will each play a different schema with a certain scenario.

I do chair work with my psychologist now too.

im not sure if other people do it?

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @rav3n  been a rough week. Some stuff different day. And I’ve had a heavy week appointment wise which has taken a lot out of me.

we haven’t really done any more trip planning this week. Got all the main things booked. I need to go rummage in the garage for a crate. Need something to put travel trip stuff in as we buy it.

I’ve just finished a Lego set that I have been working on this week. It ‘cheap Lego’ from aliexpress… went together alright and it looks really good.
