@Zoe7I am hoping it will help. My pdoc certainly thinks it will help me. Have been reading up a bit about it too, to be prepared. I think it is alot like yours where there is a group component and an individual session.

That is how it was intended to be done by Linehan who devised the program @Snowie - the social interaction is just as much a key to the program as the skills and then the one-to-one with pdoc for clarification or to discuss things it brings up for you. It is quite intense and I know that I will eventually get something out of it - I can see little changes for me already but the session the other day was very triggering and subsequently my pdoc session went a lot longer than expected. I think I would have been there a lot longer too but I needed to leave for my physio session - was a very long day - took its toll both emotionally and physically.

I'd be only too happy to help you with any of the DBT stuff. Some of its a bit hard to wrap your head around. I'll be teaching @outlander
as well. It's actually helpful to me, as it reinforces my learning and use of skills.
