Even if you have definitely decided on a career - it doesn't mean you have to start right now. It might be next year. Or you might pick a subject / unit at a time and do that. There is no rush.
And being a nurse doesn't mean you work in a hospital. You might choose aged care - traveling colonoscopy nurse - OHS Nurse for a large organisation - a psych nurse working in community - or you may choose midwifery. many different areas to choose from and no rush needed.
