Hi @Former-Member Your cross-stitching sounds really interesting & creative.

I always like the look of that sort of thing. Pains-taking effort & minute detail, I reckon (a lot of concentration).

Yes there are many talented crafty people on here - I don't feel I can contribute to that, except to admire their work.

I'm not crafty, I never have been - I didn't graduate past stick-figures.

My creativity has always been in germinating unusual plants from seed, & growing plants (gardening). Sadly, since I've been out of horticulture (for the past 6 years), I've started to lose my plant identification skills - that took decades to build up (learn).

I'm starting to go "What plant is that"? "I used to know, but I can't remember"...
