The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I can't cry at all with my pyschologist, although I've come close, yet I cry over small stuff. Crazy! I think I learnt a long time ago that I'm pretty good at putting bad stuff in my brain in a box with a lock on it. It's going take a lot to dig it out and move on.

Meeting you and others and this forum in general has been a blessing. I used to feel completely alone, I didn't think anyone could possibly think like me. The patients I met in Emergency that were suicidal never spoke too much about it, and I never had a lot of time to ask. Or they were doped up to calm them down. I'd read about how people had felt, but I guess you never believe it until you speak to someone else.

I'll be alright. I'm a tough old bird.

Jasper is dreaming-his tail, whiskers and paws are twitching.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Now there's even more tears. Thanks lil Sis. @outlander

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

yes you are tough but you dont have to be here @Sans911 many a time youve told me its ok to be vulnerable and hurting so i will tell you the same thing.
i think the big stuff gets stored away in those boxes but also in doing so we start to react to those little things. we are strange humans but can only do our best and that will have to be good enough.
im so glad and feel very priviledged to have met you and my forum family too, without you and them i probably wouldnt be alive either. As unfortunate as it is, there are people that 'get' us or at least empathise with our emotions/ urges/thoughts so it does help with out feelings of isolation.

sending many lil sis hugs to you just cause Heart
